I bought a kettle and toaster approximately two years ago. The kettle now has a fault where I must hold down the switch for it to boil. I paid a lot for these products, hoping they would last longer than two years. The one-year warranty is very disappointing. The website claims replaceable parts are available, but there are none for the switch mounted on the element.
