Our kettle, a 5-year-old 2-liter stainless steel model, is experiencing issues with a deteriorating plastic fitting that is releasing micro-plastic particles into the boiled water. This raises serious health concerns. We reached out to the support team and were informed that this model cannot be repaired and that the micro-plastic issue complies with health regulations. Given that these products are manufactured in the Far East, I find their response quite troubling. Additionally, we were surprised to learn that our assumption about a lifetime warranty on all products was incorrect, which was a significant factor in our decision to invest in this kitchen appliance. Is anyone else facing this issue, or are we alone in this experience?
