Self Service Tills.
I usually Love Dunelm and have bought from most departments over the years.
I hate, with a passion, self service tills. The two stores I have visited since these were introduced, have only 2 or 3 manned tills which slso deal with returns and other long winded transactions. The pleasure of shopping and chatting to the till operator at the end of a pleasant experience, has gone. I would rather queue and talk to a human than try to operate one of the self service tills, which we, as the cudtomer, are not trained or paid to do. In my mind, this is a big mistake and only operating for the company's benefit, not the customer's. I will visit less often in the future if the company insist on putting these inhuman machines in store. M&S here I come.
