My special needs daughter has an IQ of 69. She had downloaded the Duolingo app and we discussed and deleted it because of the cost and her inability to use it. Duolingo kept popping back up urging her to come back and sign up, and she did. I know this because her phone and mine are connected in ways that the app kept showing up on my phone urging her return. She eventually signed up “to learn to play chess” and the $104.87 charge came through the bank. I sought a refund unsuccessfully through Apple. This Duolingo app is a rip off and it hounded a girl without the intellect to fight them off. This is wrong, Apple, boot them.
