Its honestly like pulling teeth dealing with this company. At no point do they actually contact you they wait for you to follow them up after you have paid and not received items. Until which point you mention Fair Trade months later and list your legal credentials in the email at which point communication becomes regular and a refund offered. At this point I had to tell them to atop emailling as communication became so frequeny. Mind you, this refund was only in exchange for me removing my original review which, quite frankly, seems ridiculous as it echoed every other review here. They rely on continuously reminding customers they are a small family business and we shouldnt blame them for items waiting on release - yet they dont tell you the items are on backorder when you purchase them. Then they get onto your previous orders - if you didnt complain you must be satisfied with their services and therefore you should just be happy. I do not call months of waiting on a product where the company makes no attempt to reach out and apologise for the delay and failure to inform the product is on backorder - then having to threaten Fair Trade to get a refund, okay. Nor the company saying I shouldnt punish them for the product being unavailable currently - why not?!? They had ample time to notify of its delay and they never bothered to make any form of contact. I have now received a refund for the product, but not the promised $10 postage refund which I requested when the website made me split my order into two parts and pay a double postage fee when all the products were send in one box. I havw in writing the refund of postage would be made but honestly too much of a hassle to follow up. They have no interest in improving their systems - only after making a publically accessible complaint here will they bother to communicate with you. Never ever have I had such a bad customer service experience in my life. Being family run does not give you a get out of jail free card to ignore the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Sad really that in this day and age businesses cannot be bothered to follow the law. All my own personal opinion of course.

Ordered some FNAF action figures for my son’s birthday and he is over the moon about it! Items were exactly as described and arrived with no issues. Was a bit hesitant as some of the reviews weren’t that great but I will definitely be ordering from these guys again as it was a smooth and positive experience for myself. Shipped on time with notifications at every step of the way

Our Pre-orders NEVER arrive and they refuse to give a refund even after waiting a year.

On the product we ordered, DVDLand recently put a date of Feb 18 for the product to finally arrive. So we had some hope.

The product briefly changed to “in stock” then quickly back to “pre-order now”.

Pay a few dollars more and save yourself the frustration… but elsewhere!

Purchased a dvd for a family member who was unable to find it anywhere else, 4 months later dvd had not been sent and dvd land did not bother contacting me to let me know they didn’t even have it in stock and admitted they did not know if they were going to get stock in! They will happily take your cash but they don’t want to send you what you’ve paid for then you’ll be fighting with them to get your money back!! The WORST business I’ve ever dealt with, nightmare from go to woe!

Avoid this service

I advise against dealing with this service as they sell items that are not in stock. After numerous messages over two weeks of waiting, I was finally told I would receive my order when they had it. I was not informed that these were pre-orders, and it doesn't indicate that on my receipt. I will never buy from them again and am filing a dispute.

Avoid Due to Stock Issues

I strongly recommend not dealing with this service as they sell items they do not actually have. After multiple messages over two weeks, I was eventually informed that I would receive my order when it was in stock. I was not made aware that these items were pre-orders, and this is not indicated on my receipt. I will never shop with them again and am filing a dispute.

Inconsistent service

I ordered mini figures in October, and as of December, they still haven't arrived with no updates on their availability. I decided to cancel my order and am hoping for a refund. I suggest others proceed with caution to ensure the items ordered are actually available in a timely manner.
