Had Dyno-Rod in to investigate the smell we had from an internal drain. The guy who turned up investigated with cameras and in the end concluded that the smell was due to the residue from bubble bath although it actually only occurs when a toilet flushes - this really doesn't make any sense. He flushed the drain with water but as we expected, the smell was back within 24 hours, despite no bubble bath being used in that time, and still occurs whenever the toilet is flushed. Have decided to wait until we get plumbers in for some upcoming building work, and get them to take a look, but it was a waste of £175.
