Subject: Complaint - Dyson HP04 purifier filters & Questionable Business PracticesOn December 12, 2024, I purchased HEPA filters for my Dyson HP04 purifier, following the recommendation of your Dyson sales team, for a total amount of €99. The filters were shipped by mail and delivered on December 17, 2024, however, I found that they were not compatible with my purifier model.The next day, December 18, 2024, I tried to resolve the situation through the telephone support service, but unfortunately without success. I was instructed to contact the online chat service (case number 43484364), where, after sending photos and videos of the old and new filters, the incompatibility of the filters was confirmed. The Dyson service center told me that I should return the incorrect filters and make a new purchase of the appropriate filters through a payment link in the amount of €78, which I did immediately.On December 20, 2024, I returned the incorrect filters and, to date, I am still awaiting reimbursement of the amount of €99 that I initially paid.To my surprise, on December 27, 2024, I received two boxes containing only the filter housing, and not the filters themselves, which makes my purifier unusable.This experience, coupled with the difficulty in obtaining the correct replacement parts, leads me to believe that Dyson intentionally manufactures appliances with limited lifespans, forcing customers to purchase new units once the warranty period expires. Dyson sells these appliances at a premium price, only for them to become unusable due to a lack of available replacement parts.I urge potential customers to avoid Dyson appliances to prevent being misled as I have been. I demand a full refund for the incorrect filters and a resolution to the missing filter elements that render my purifier unusable.
