I purchased a voucher for the riding school as a birthday gift for my partner, who is an experienced rider and has missed riding and spending time with horses for quite some time. He booked his first lesson, and everything went well. However, when he booked a second lesson, he received a call on the morning of the lesson informing him that he could no longer ride as they had just realized he was too heavy. He had declared his weight from the start. Although he is a bit muscular, it's not excessive for an average male. Given that he had already completed one lesson without issue and it was the school's oversight, good customer service would have been to allow him to proceed with his booked ride and inform him afterward about future limitations. I also found it ironic that they claim to care for their horses' health, as they appeared quite miserable and isolated in small enclosures. While they may receive physical care, they seemed as unhappy as animals in a zoo. I had already thought this was one of the saddest places I had seen, and my opinion has not improved. I also noted that my partner was the only person of color present, and during my visit, he was stared at the entire time.
