Helpful young employee amidst challenges

I visited yesterday and had difficulty locating what I needed due to a lack of floor staff. I turned to customer service, where two employees were under pressure but did their best to assist me. I had to head downstairs for my item, which was a different experience. I wandered around searching for a book with no staff available to help. I found a young employee who, despite his accent, went above and beyond to help me. He took me back to the checkout to look up the books. There was a lengthy queue, and a woman approached an older man behind the counter who was unfriendly and unhelpful. The young employee sought his advice, but despite the books being in stock, the older man suggested they just tell me they weren't available. The young man persisted in trying to assist me. I eventually told him to let it go as there were other customers waiting. Throughout this, the older man remained unhelpful. This was around noon yesterday. The company clearly needs more staff like the young man, who did an admirable job, unlike the grumpy ones. I plan to shop elsewhere from now on.
