Solid Gold Total Inaction

With an original range of merchandise, Easy Action’s main focus is on Marc Bolan and T.Rex, but do cater for other 70s artists too. Their enthusiasm towards customer services and order processing however, is at the other end of the scale when compared to their efforts in marketing. An order I placed which was listed as in stock wasn’t even despatched for eight days. No update was provided, and no apology within the despatch notice. No response to two subsequent email enquiries about my order either - despite their claims to be committed to good customer service. If this is their usual approach to orders then I would have to suggest looking at Chinese-based sellers who offer similar products for considerably less - and can deliver sooner too!Nothing easy for the customer about this company, sadly.Update: I have since received an email response from Carlton Sandercock the ‘owner’ of Easy Action, who was just downright condescending and sarcastic. He made no real excuse for the delay in sending my order, and no response to my question as to why nobody at his company could be bothered to send even a brief update as to what was going on. All he wanted to do was argue the toss about whether the gap between placing the order and my receiving it (still waiting!) was two weeks or 13 days. Pedantry will not wriggle you out of this, Mr Sandercock. In short, Easy Action appear not to give a hoot. My main concern is that this ‘company’ are linked to the name of Marc Bolan & T.Rex at all, because frankly, they are an embarrassment. As a fan of this particular artist, I would prefer Easy Action took their lack of business acumen and poor customer service standards elsewhere.Update April 2018:I received a refund and the promise that they would still send the t shirt out to me when it was back in stock. Disappointingly, they have failed to do so. They also claimed that they had sent out the original order, which mysteriously never did materialise. Much as I would prefer to write a positive review of any business marketing ‘official’ T.Rex merchandise, based on my experiences here, that just isn’t possible.Update June 2018:Still no sign of the aforementioned t shirt, just more lame excuses . Having seen the particular item listed on their website as “available” I made a further enquiry as to when I might actually see the product I’ve been waiting for since February. Oh, it’s “actually not in stock yet but will be in next week”. Hmm, really. Either they are deliberately misleading other potential customers now by claiming products are in stock when they aren’t or, perhaps even...they are lying to me? Having previously run a promotional merchandise business, I have never known an item of clothing take four months to be re-stocked. Even if it were stitched with gold in the wilds of Nowhereland, supplies would have reached jolly old England by now. But if Easy Action treat their suppliers the way they treat their customers, I guess the real reason might be that nobody wants to deal with them.
