I made two car rental reservations via Ebookers. Both were easy and fast, the rates were cheaper compared to online prices of the car rental companies themselves.
The only flaw was that when renting a car in Italy, where drop-off was at a different location than pick-up, there was an extra drop-off fee, which couldn't be paid during reservation. It had to be paid on site. I thought this was a bit inconvenient. The price was also stated as tax-free, so there is no way of knowing, if the taxes are going to be added to the fare, so I don't know for sure how much needs to be paid. Not nice, when you're traveling on a budget.
