Nothing but excuses for 7 months.We have spent 7 months and almost $400 trying to get her evaluation done. Both sides - Latvia and ECE have and continue to make a lot of errors; but we fault ECE mostly because they claim to be the experts. Even though they have her original sealed and signed diplomas and transcripts, and now the original signed and stamped certification from the Latvia Government National Archives - still ECE claims they been unable to communicate with the Archive. Yet, when we email or call during the regular hours (all information is posted on the official Latvian Government Archive websites in perfect English) AND (everyone in Latvia at the university and the Archive speaks fluent English); we get right through to our contacts there. ECE claims they cannot get in touch with the Archive. For other people, we have had our evaluation requests processed by companies other than ECE and the process is completed in a few weeks, Despite what they claim on their website, chat function is useless for anything and there is no way to contact the alleged ECE evaluator other than by email. In fact, you cannot walk in to their offices (we are not that far away); and they do not publish phone or fax numbers. This company ECE is NOT RECOMMENDED.
