Long story short:For lack of a better word or phrase This website is a scam.Short story LONG:I'm not sure how I would even classify this website, What other possible reason would these people have to scour the internet looking for obituaries just to repost them on their own website WITH NO AUTHORIZATION?I found both my father in law and my wife on their website and I can say for a FACT they did NOT HAVE permission.what's more is we had already done an obituary both on the funeral home website and in the newspaper.I'm sure almost every funeral home offers this, but My father in law and my wife's obituary both had the option to" sign the book of condolences" And/or. " Light a candle"And if you go look at an obituary on echovita.com you will see they too give you a similar offer, they give you the option to " light a candle" or " plant a tree" but in their case they make you PAY FOR that. ONE positive thing to say about it though, Even though I don't know how or why they got the obituaries, when I contacted them and alsed them to cease and desist they did so IMMEDIATELY.
