I am 83 years old, on 9th November 2021 I had a fall and broke my Femur which resulted in a two week stay in hospital. On my discharge from hospital a six week rehabilitation package was put in place provided by ECL to help me get up, wash and get dressed, also to get undressed and into bed. A physiotherapist visited me twice a week supervising an exercise programme which helped accelerate my recovery.The service was truly excellent, all the carers were kind and cheerful, they encouraged me gently to become gradually more independent, a state I achieved by the end of the six weeks. At the end of the package the physiotherapist arranged for the NHS to continue with the physiotherapy.The service I received was first rate, all the staff without exception were kind, helpful and encouraging, it was a pleasure to have them visit.
