In January, I purchased an EcoFlow E980 portable power station from ACI, who claimed to be the official distributor of EcoFlow in Bangladesh. The product came with a 2-year warranty.

On April 11, the device suddenly stopped working it would not charge at all. I immediately contacted ACI’s helpline to file a warranty claim. What followed was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience.
Instead of a proper warranty tracking system, they simply gave me a personal contact number.

I called the person who asked for all my details again and then forwarded me to someone else.

I contacted the second person, who once again asked for the complete information. He took three days to respond and then requested a video call so I could show him the issue. After seeing the problem, he instructed me to reset the app, something I had already done multiple times.

Since the issue persisted, he promised to send someone to collect the device for repair or replacement. After waiting several days with no update, I called him again. I found that he had almost forgotten about my case. I had to explain the entire situation from the beginning once more and requested him to pick up the device that same day so the warranty process could finally begin.

He agreed and said he would come at 1:00 PM. At 12:55 PM, he called me, but I couldn’t pick up in time. I called him back immediately and repeatedly. He finally answered at 1:30 PM and casually claimed that he had already come in the morning and that I had told him the device had already been picked up.

When I reminded him of his own message confirming he would come at 1:00 PM, it became clear he had completely forgotten the details again. I had to explain the whole problem and the required next steps for the third time.

I bought the EcoFlow E980 because of the brand’s strong global reputation for quality and reliability. I am deeply disappointed and shocked that such a reputable company would appoint such an unprofessional and inefficient third-party distributor in Bangladesh.
