This is honestly one of the worst and most unpleasant customer service experiences I have ever had.
I bought the EcoFlow 400W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel, and it arrived without any case at all — just in a cardboard box. I genuinely do not understand how I am supposed to transport it or even use it safely without damaging it. It is called “portable”, but there is no proper protection included.
On the same day I received it, I requested a return. Literally the same day. I wrote to support immediately.
They told me I must pay 130 EUR for return shipping. This is absurd. If delivery is advertised as free and the product does not suit me, why am I required to pay 130 EUR just to return it?
I asked them to show me exactly where in their return policy it states that I agreed to such a charge. Not just that the fee exists, but where I agreed to it. I also asked them to provide the return address, because I still do not even know where I am supposed to send the product.
They promised to look into the issue and reply within 3–5 days. No one replied. I am being completely ignored.
Right now, I have a product I want to return, no return address, no clear explanation, and a demand to pay 130 EUR.
This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable service from a company operating in the European Union.
I am stuck with a product I do not want that cost me 650 EUR, and I cannot even properly open a bank dispute until I return it — yet they refuse to provide a return address unless I agree to pay 130 EUR.
By withholding the return address and ignoring my requests, they are effectively blocking the return process, which feels like deceptive and potentially fraudulent behavior toward customers.
One star.
I purchased a refurbished unit and it appears to be in pristine condition, as if it were brand new (complete with foil, box, etc.). The shipping was prompt as well. The capacity (572 Wh) along with the additional battery will suit my needs perfectly. Having three wall sockets is a significant advantage, especially since I mainly charge camera and drone batteries. I left my car fridge connected overnight, and it only drained about 30 percent (at 7 C). Impressive! I also tested it with my entire work setup—large monitor, two laptops, phone, and headphones—and it lasted for two days (the laptops started with around 75% charge). Working from a remote location is definitely feasible! :)
I understand that the customer support could be improved, but the devices are stunning, well-crafted, and have a solid, modern aesthetic that complements any room. One notable aspect that reflects their commitment to quality is the packaging. I was truly impressed when I opened my unit; the quality of the foam and the fact that the manual was in a high-grade plastic bag showed that they care about delivering a great product. If the company invests this much in shipping, it’s clear they value the quality of the units themselves. I’m thrilled with my purchase and am now looking for panels to take advantage of the 800-watt solar input. Initially, I planned to use it to ease the load on my generator, but now I’m excited to see its full potential. It’s currently powering my gaming PC and everything around it. I’m really enjoying this power station!
I ordered directly from EcoFlow for the first time (Stream Ultra, two 520W solar panels, and accessories) and I’m very disappointed.Even the delivery was chaotic: one single order was split into several packages and sent through different transport companies, all arriving on different days without any clear overview.The real problem, however, began with the complaint.One of the solar panels arrived visibly damaged. After I reported the issue and sent photos, I was instructed to dispose of the damaged panel myself and return the undamaged one in order to receive two new ones.For a heavy and bulky 25 kg solar panel that cannot simply be thrown away with household waste, this is completely unreasonable and customer-unfriendly.Instead of offering a straightforward solution – such as a price reduction or an organized return – the process was made unnecessarily complicated.I expected much better communication, professionalism, and customer care from a company like EcoFlow.For me, this was unfortunately the first and last time ordering from EcoFlow.
My battery broke after 1 week of usage this summer 2025. I had to send it to repair and never received it back. I have written several times to there customer service. I get a polite response, even a promise of a 5pct discount on the order (even though this is no order but a guarantee case), but still no battery. They had it dor 2 months now.
Installed a Ecoflow Powerocean System Single Phase about 6 months ago and everything about it is great ,even if there's a storm coming they will override the system to charge the battery to 100% ready to supply you if you get a power cut.The batteries are modular 5kwh each ,I have the 10kwh but you can add more if needed The App is really good and clear
