Concerning subscription practices

At 41, I feel compelled to criticize a business for poor practices, and it's surprising that this is a publication I have admired for years. I never thought I would label my experience as a scam, but it seems I am not alone. Other than one email that vaguely stated my subscription would renew, I received no further notifications about the impending charge. The way they handle renewals is incredibly sneaky and unprofessional—something I've never encountered with other subscription services. From what I've read, there are laws requiring clear communication about renewals, and this company does not seem to comply, which raises legal concerns.
