We booked a car through this site and paid for full coverage insurance. Upon arrival at the rental agency they said we weren’t insured and wanted to charge us twice the price of the rental for additional insurance. They insisted we had to pay this fee to take the car, even though that’s not legal in Mexico. I spoke with Economy 3 times during this process and they said all they could refund was the price for the “full coverage” insurance. Although that process is not at all straightforward and I’m having trouble even submitting a claim. In the end, we ended up walking away without taking the car. I’ll never book through them again- a complete scam!
