My experience with EDF was 'problematic' taking over 3 years to resolve. Eventually I came across Terence (Team U) who instantly understood the problem and actually took steps to get it solved. He escalated the situation through his line management, kept me updated and would not let it drop until, finally, I had a new meter and accurate bills. I am no longer in fear of turning the heat on !Of EDF the jury is still out, to allow a situation to carry on, apparently without supervision, for so long is poor but .. Terence (Team U) is now my hero and a credit to whoever had the sense to employ him.
