I had a problem with my meter. It showed the readings was off way too much. After several phone calls I got put through with a lady called Praise. She was very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend to get in touch with her to sort out any issues with edf energy
Andrew was very supportive on my circumstances gave some great advice & helped me get back on supply quickly knowing I require my medical injections in the fridge. Thankyou very much

Always had a good experience with EDF, very easy to gain contact via phone without too much hassle. Manage to speak with an operator that has always have me the correct advise and helped me with my requests
There was a problem with an estimated reading being inaccurate for my mother's property. I could see from the bill that the problem had been going on for a while. I talked to Sharon and she sorted it out quickly. She gave me 2 options to send a picture of the meter to show that the estimates were inaccurate and has arranged a refund straight away.
At our old property, EDF supplied both our gas and electricity. We had no issues, and the app was easy to use and understand. We submitted meter readings every month and paid for our usage on the app. We moved to a new property with an older economy 7 system and a smart meter. We initially gave the incorrect readings, getting the day and night rates mixed up having never had a smart meter before. As a result we received an enormously inflated bill. It took a long time chatting with an online assistant at EDF to get the issue sorted. After this, EDF remotely updated our smart meter which then started to send out incorrect readings and again we received enormous bills despite not being at home 90% of the time. We had even disconnected and removed our old storage heaters and isolated the economy 7 system. We reached out to EDF by email and after not hearing anything back for 2 weeks, we submitted further emails and also messages on their WhatsApp service. After more weeks passed, we heard absolutely nothing back. We submitted complaints by email and again heard nothing back for an extended time. By now we had decided EDF were enjoying billing us incorrectly, and we lost all hope with their utter refusal to reply to our correspondence. We have now gladly changed energy companies and have still yet to hear from EDF regarding leaving or our final bill. An absolutely shambolic service of pure ignorance.

It's unusual to say the least to praise a utility company..however when I contacted EDF today as I noticed they had made a mistake on my bill. The call was answered by a man called Ray, who obviously got out of bed the right side this morning as he was pleasant, happy, polite and extremely efficient in sorting out the query ..so what can I say..all companies make mistakes, it is how they deal with them that's the important thing thank you EDF, and thank you Ray.
Acted straight away to resolve a faulty meter unlike Scottishpower who deny any responsibility and don't take you seriously and reject numerous requests for an engineer to test the meter

quite frankly, a horrendous customer experience with edf over the course of 2 years.
Finally speaking to Kim, she empathised, listened, explained, apologised, amd dealt with every bad situation independently, taking time to understand each situation, / problem and deliver possible solutions.
Edf and its processes have let me down again and again. Kim stayed in contact, emailed the correct people, dealt with each concern and checked back after to ensure it had been resolved. All in all I spent over4 hours of telephone time getting nowhere going round and round before Kim. It wasn't great.
