I was charged €99.99 for an eDreams Prime membership without my explicit consent. The subscription was automatically activated based on a previous trial, without clear and transparent confirmation.

The situation became worse when I tried to use the advertised benefits. The “free cancellation” / trip modification did not work — the system returned a “Trip change failed” error and my request was not processed.

Customer support is extremely difficult to access. Phone calls are handled by an automated system that disconnects, and chat agents refuse to resolve the issue, repeatedly redirecting to unreachable phone support.

I have already filed a formal complaint with international consumer protection authorities (reference available).

This experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. I expect a full refund of the €99.99 charge and cancellation of the membership.

updated: eDreams has refused to refund me even after I contacted support. I have now filed a formal complaint (ref 200407300) and will continue escalation.
