I had to cancel a flight for medical reasons and I knew it was non refundable which was fine. The issue ive had is they won't let me actually cancel the flight as its non refundable which I need to do to be able to put in a travel insurance claim. All I want is to be able to get a proof of cancellation for a claim. I know im not entitled to a refund. I just need a proof of cancellation which is virtually impossible to get.
