I would not recommend this park to absolute nobody! And nobody should! I was there last saterday the 10th of august. And what happend to me based on my race!! Im a 45 year old mother of 3 lovely sons and one of them is a special need child. That day i wanted to bring my childeren to the Efteling as they promote it so well, and calling it a fairytale where wonders still happen. My youngest is 4 years old and was over the moon happy and exited, and i was so happy for him this was our first time. Just arrived in the park my youngest got tired really fast it was a long ride and a long walk as well from the car to the entrance. My sister also started to have some difficulty walking as she had broken her hips not long ago. So i walked to the entrance to get a wheelchair and a kid chair both where not availlable. I had to walk outside the entrance to get to the wheelchair. As i was communicating with my sister about the chair 6 male security gards pass me pulling and pushing a younger boy seeing the boy felt intimidated and not being vilent or so. As a mother and a human i expressed my worries and ask them if they could take it a bit easy on the boy because its just a kid. At that point they turned to me in a intimidating way and demand i walk on showing me the parking space, as i said im not going another security guard walk towards me screaming 'follow your boyfriend' meaning the kid. I felt disrespected how dare you. My boyfriend based on what? Our nationality? Never had i seen that boy in my life untill that moment. Then he stands close to me bending a bit over me and pointing a finger close in my face. At that moment he starts about respect. Respect are you kidding me. Respect comes both ways i say, and why dont you start showing it to me and get your finger out my face. I was clearly older then him! At this point im getting angry and my emotion starts building up. He asks me for me ticket and then denied me the entrance While my childeren are still in the park. I ask for a supervisor he refuses. So i walked to the entrance followed by 6 guards or more close to me. I didnt feel save at all. At this point i was not reasonable but i never cursed or used any vilence or what so ever, but i can understand a person cursing at this point but i didnt i only raised my voice to defand myself in a clear way. i just wanted to get to my childeren. As i walked i called the Police and told them about the situation. At that point a supervisor of the security guys already joined the group but never announced that he was the supervisor neither did he ask my side of the story or tried to calm the situation. I found out because i demanded a supervisor then he made it clear that he was the supervisor. The reason i was denied back in is that i disrespected the house rules he said. So you know standing up for yourself and getting loud after being intimidated and disrespected you dont respect there rules. The rule is to threat them with respect, even if they dont. This is crazy and beyond the country we stand for. This is a disgrace. To make this story short or shorter because its to much. At the end i wasnt allowed to wait for my childeren. I was taken (as a victem in my eyes and i would believe any reasonable person to) because i didnt want to leave the park without my childeren. That they ask me leave instead of an excuses a sorry or something??? to the police station. To come home at 01:30 in the morning my autist non verbal son totally disturbed and in paniek because he cant sleep without me it was heartbreaking. They ruined our day out and left us stressed out and disturbed its a shock. Never did i think this was possible. I got a lawyer and i filed charges. For that this wil never happen again to nobody colour race or sexuality and more we are human. This is not the first time you will find online a lot more information do your research. Dont go there. It is nice untill you pay then you are not important anymore the cash is. And forget about respect you will get disrespected and turned it around that you have to show respect isnt that the fairytale they promote because for sure its a wonder a wonder that things like this can happen. Im still very shocked. I live here in the Netherlands 43 years this never ever happend to me ever! Its a shame and that is said lightly. *UPDATE*I made a complaint of course because in this cases its very important that you do not that they are gonna take the complaint and really do something with. That i new as i spoke to one victem Liza from brussels with tge autistic child. After winning the case they where suprised about the case. A sorry was to much. Thats why i contacted Liza and more victems. Together we are going to speak out in the news. I didnt needed an Answer but a sorry en excuse an apollogy. But how could you you didnt even say sorry to Liza for the horror you put her true. You could not believe the outcome instead of a sorry SILENCE IS NOT A OPTION!!!

Wereld van de Efteling
31 mei 1952 was een heuglijke dag: de Efteling werd officieel geopend. Het toenmalige Sprookjesbos groeide in de decennia die volgden uit tot een gigantische Wereld vol Wonderen. Met name Anton Pieck zorgde voor de sprookjesachtige sfeer die de Efteling kenmerkt en tot op de dag van vandaag wordt gekoesterd en bewaakt.
De Wereld van de Efteling beperkt zich niet tot het attractiepark en de overnachtingsmogelijkheden maar komt ook tot uiting in evenementen voor de zakelijke markt. Bovendien produceert de Efteling eigen musicals en radio- en televisieprogramma's zoals Sprookjesboom en Jokie.See more
