I ordered specific smoke detectors, and rather than ship the ones that I ordered they substituted with different ones and didn’t contact me first to ask if I wanted a substitution (which i did not!). I called in and told them they should have contacted me before shipping substitutions because I would have declined and asked for a refund before they shipped anything. You should never ship a substitution without asking the customer first if they want it. Now I have to take time out of my day to talk to customer service, submit an online form, wait for a label and print it off and take the items to the shipper to return. This should never have happened. I would not buy from this company again.
