I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Electrolux and Pacifica regarding an out-of-warranty fridge freezer repair.The issue was first reported at the end of July because the fridge was occasionally freezing food. Since then, it’s now November, and after around eight engineer visits, the appliance is still not working. In fact, it’s in worse condition than when this all started.One of the engineers’ interventions in September actually caused both the fridge and freezer to stop working completely, meaning we’ve been without a functioning fridge or freezer ever since.The customer service and appointment management have been equally poor. I’ve had to chase them multiple times because, despite being told someone would contact me to book appointments, no one did. Appointments were moved or cancelled without notice and without checking my availability. The most recent appointment was cancelled with no notification at all — I only found out by checking the service portal myself.When I contacted them, I was told the fridge had been deemed irreparable and that I would receive an exchange, but again, no one reached out to confirm or arrange it. I was assured on 04/11 that someone would call me back with an update that same day. It’s now the evening of 06/11, and I’m still waiting.Overall, this has been a nightmare experience — months without a working fridge, repeated service failures, and complete lack of communication. I would not recommend Electrolux or Pacifica repair services to anyone.
