Electrolux’s products and customer service are both an utter disgrace. I bought a new build home which had Electrolux appliances installed and, quite simply, I will never use their appliances again. My washer/dryer developed a fault within the guarantee period, and the engineer that Electrolux sent out fixed it, however, it soon failed again. Because when the repair failed fell outside of the warranty period, Electrolux couldn’t give a damn about the fault anymore, and claim the faulty machine and shoddy repair is nothing to do with them. They will not entertain repairing or replacing my machine, despite numerous attempts to escalate my complaint. I just hit a brick wall! Products that’s cost the best part of £1000 shouldn’t fail within the warranty period. And if they do the manufacturer should step up. My advice to anybody considering an Electrolux appliance (including Zanussi and AEG brands) is to buy something reliable, from a company that provides decent customer support and after sales care. Avoid this company at all costs.
