We returned for clarification, and another staff member said the owner would contact us the next day. We waited until 5 p.m. but had to call the store before closing. The owner claimed the staff member was experienced and suggested they wouldn’t have been unaware of the mattress's origin, stating it was our word against theirs. We shared our shopping experience and suggested reviewing CCTV, but he mentioned it was only retained for 14 days. After discussing, he promised to send details about a UK-made mattress with a 25% discount, requiring an additional payment. We have not received any response since. We are very disappointed with this local business's integrity.
