I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel the need to share my experience with this university.First, does it make sense for someone with absolutely no background in a specific field to be teaching that subject? I’m studying Health and Social Care Management, and at the beginning of the semester, none of our lecturers had any relevant experience. They all came from business backgrounds, with limited to no understanding of health and social care. I’ve seen lecturers searching Google during class to understand basic terminology and explain phrases in their own slides. How can someone effectively teach when they lack even a fundamental grasp of the subject? In addition, it seems that the university’s entry requirements are minimal, as a large portion of students struggle with basic conversational English, let alone academic English. I’m not making this observation to be racist—I’m not a native English speaker myself—but it’s a fact that became a significant concern once we were informed that some of next semester’s assignments are group presentations with pre-assigned teams. How am I expected to prepare and present as a group when most members can barely communicate in English? This feels deeply unfair to all involved.Ultimately, this university seems more like a scheme for people that need an extra cash to collect student finance while the uni is getting their tuition’s payments. the final degree is issued by a reputable institution, that’s one of the only positives I can see
