We requested a return within the legal 14-day EU withdrawal period. Customer service initially refused, claiming the item was “Final Sale” due to a 20% discount.
Under EU consumer law, discounted items are still covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal. Only after we formally cited the law and mentioned escalation did they agree to accept a return.
They also attempted to apply a 20% restocking fee and asked us to declare the parcel at a “minimal value” for customs. Following our refusal to proceed under those conditions, Ellitâne now refuses any return without applying unlawful conditions, leaving us with no practical possibility to return the dress.
