I recently paid off my Embark credit card 2 months ago and then they placed a block on my card. When I called to inquire why my card was blocked, I was told by 3 different reps that my account was on hold because I paid off a $2400 balance. I was repeatedly told by all the reps that the ONLY way to unblock my Embark card was to send them an ORIGINAL bank statement showing where the payment came from?????? WHAT???? I have never been told I have to send my bank statement for verification that I paid off a credit card. No one can explain this to me after repeated attempts. NEVER deal with these people, EVER!!! Use another card but stay away from the Embark card. They have nothing but poor reviews, including mine!!!!
