There are over $5,000 in fraudulent charges on my account. I've called 15 times in a month on the phone a total of over 17 hours and has not been taken care of and I have not received a new card. No one answers my specific questions only reads from a script

Got the invitation letter and completed the Application, got Approved for $ 1.250 Jajajaja , it is joke !!755 credit score Call 5mins after the approval and cancel the account, do not waste time sending the card. Thanks

I recently paid off my Embark credit…

I recently paid off my Embark credit card 2 months ago and then they placed a block on my card. When I called to inquire why my card was blocked, I was told by 3 different reps that my account was on hold because I paid off a $2400 balance. I was repeatedly told by all the reps that the ONLY way to unblock my Embark card was to send them an ORIGINAL bank statement showing where the payment came from?????? WHAT???? I have never been told I have to send my bank statement for verification that I paid off a credit card. No one can explain this to me after repeated attempts. NEVER deal with these people, EVER!!! Use another card but stay away from the Embark card. They have nothing but poor reviews, including mine!!!!

Horrible Horrible Horrible - American Express should in no way be associated with this 3rd Party card issuer. I have made a call to American Express explaining this shading dealing with these people and I assured them that my original Amex Gold card I will probably dump after being a member for 3 decades if this is who they want to align themselves with! These crooks have a Payment cut off time of 4:00 PM CT? this is the electronic age and I know you people are not handling every transaction by hand, what do you do, turn off your computers at 4:00 pm? Merchant Service transaction end at 11:59 pm EST Monday thru Friday, yet these crooks choose 4:00 pm.The app forces you to make the minimum payment or the balance in full, although there is an option to make a different payment amount, it never pops up. Forget adding any additional sources for payment to your account, the app is pure trash. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE - CALL AMERICAN EXPRESS AND COMPLAIN - ASK THEM WHY ASSOCIATE THEM - File your claim with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (855) 411-2372 if customer service dumb's down on you - This has to stop, this is dirty business, plain and simple.

If you get this card be aware that their security to protect you is very poor. Their customer service is not US based and it's difficult to communicate with their CSR who are most likely based in the Philippines.

Paid my Embark card of in full now they…

Paid my Embark card of in full now they want me to prove its me. They are demanding I send bank statement showing I made the payment. They continue to charge me a dollar and on top of that and are willing to take a payment from the disputed checking account. I have called to speak to a manager no one is available. No one will call you back. It is a scam. If you don't pay off your card and they can charge interest they allow you your credit. it is crazy.

Stay away from Embark!!

Stay away from Embark!!! I paid this card off in early June, locked the card and they have been charging me $1 every month in interest somehow! I think it’s so I’ll keep thinking there’s no balance, which it shouldn’t be and they can charge me a late fee on the dollar. I reported them to the federal consumer protection department.

Applied for card.Got 9500 credit line.Always paid my bills on time .It is impossible to get on there website and I got one late payment.Called and paid on a next day.Ask them to take late fee off which they did.In couple of days I closed an account and they promised take 1$ interest off and never give my 6$ reward back.Customer service was keep calling me for 1$ and finally they put it on my credit report!DO NOT APPLY!!!!!TERRIBLE!!!!

Declined when used..

I have the card for almost a year now and it has been very frustrating to say the least, I have only been able to make two charges due to the fact the rest where declined, my limit is pretty high so there is no reason for the card to have declined my purchased, called support each time it happen, also requested a new cars with new card number but it still declined charges, got letter in the mail saying my card was temporarily suspended and that I needed to call, so I called and then they told me to get the card back on I would need to send a copy of my current utility bill and driver license, this is beyond unnecessary I understand fraud is at an all time high but I have never had this kind of experience with a credit card before.

Poor customer service, lack of contact.

I started with the company in January, I made 2 charges. I tried to look at the charges in late January and I couldn't get in. So the agent said that I needed to reset my profile. I did and I got in. I went to make a payment on February and the same thing happened again, and I was again ask to reset my profile. I was again able to get in and made my payment. I tried to reenter the app. 5 minutes later and couldn't. When I was going to make my March payment I was again told that I need to reset my profile. I refused as this was the third time. I requested that I speak to tech. Support, I was told that they couldn't do that. I as to speak to a manager, I was also told we can't do that. I stated that I needed to hear from someone either tech or management or I would close the account. A week past and neither happened. This is the level Support this company has.
