I explained to him that I wouldn’t pay him any more than £49 as it was such an easy job. But he insisted it would need drilled and that would cost around £150. I told him to shove it where the sun don’t shine. Then I knocked a few neighbours doors. Got a hammer and screwdriver and was in my house within 5 minutes. These guys will con you into thinking it’s a really hard job. Avoid these scammers like the plague. Karma always comes around to conmen.
