I flew with Emirates to Dubai in Jan. Ahead of arriving at the airport I bought excess baggage. Due to a technical problem on their website, it was processed as excess baggage for the return trip. They told me this when I arrived at check-in, so I asked them to reassign it to the trip I actually bought for : this outgoing trip. They insisted that I couldn't and I would have to buy it again. So I had to purchase it again. This is appalling and this conduct tells me they want to exploit customers. My assistant raised a complaint because theyve breached UK Consumer Protection law, yet they still haven't resolved it.I'm so appalled by this money grab attempt so I've decided to avoid them as an airline.
