On our flight to Accra via Dubai,( family of five). My daughter sat next to me. The crew serving the food skipped our row. I taught she was coming back but no. I was hungry to the point I called one of them and told her that we were not served food . She went to the kitchen and came back to say that there is no food. Technically they have run out. So another crew came to say that the only option is bread and cheese. Unfortunately I don't eat cheese so the only option was the bread. I expressed my disappointed especially when you have a child who kept asking for food and saw her other ate it had food . I raised this issue with Emirates and the person in charge called Martina, was very rude, defensive and insisted that I was given food. I felt stupid and demented for contacting Emirates in the first place because they just branded me a liar over food I was entitled to. At the end of the day it was just food but to treat a customer like they are nothing is unacceptable. There are so many airlines that offers respect to their customers. Avoid Emirates. I think all they care about is profit and not the welfare of their customers.
