I purchased 3 x Gen 1 alarms at a cost of £60. Upon arrival they appeared to be good quality and were indeed VERY loud. However, upon attaching to my dog walking bag and town handbags, I found the alarms would go off at random times, causing shock and embarrassment. It happened so much, that I had to stop using them. The pin releases too easily when you are just walking around and the whole alarm falls to the ground, creating a scene (when you don't want it to!). They are not fit for purpose. I contacted customer service and they did kindly send out ONE replacement, however, the replacement of course had the same issue as the other 3, so it was pointless. £60 is a lot of money to have wasted. All alarms on the market appear to be the same and have the same design flaws, so in spite of this company's claims that their alarms are "different" and finally decent, it appears this is untrue. Just more marketing BS to prey on the fears of the vulnerable for profit. Mass produced and over-priced Chinese junk like all the rest.
