TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. Feels like a scam, they call you on the phone and give you a whole (very cringe) sales pitch about how it will change your life and Emma will help you out so much and be available to chat to (she is never involved at all, just the face of this scam) Then I was told about the pricing, it’s cheaper the more time you sign your life away to this pointless app. I explained I wasn’t in a steady financial position and could I stop my membership if I needed to, they lied and told me I could. So I stupidly fell for it as I wanted to get fit and healthy and have some motivation and direction as I’ve never been a gym person. It was £120 a month for me, the exercises are just generic ones you could find on YouTube for free, there’s barely any communication. If you ask a question it takes about 2-3 days for one of their bot like employees to answer. The meal plan - disgusting. The recipes are literally awful and don’t make any sense, some were inedible for eg - the recipe for a veggie burger was to use frozen quorn mince to make a burger - (obviously that doesn’t work it’s not like meat mince and just falls apart) the ones that were edible tasted terrible and bland. They also kept putting a load of sweet stuff on my plan - pancakes, yogurt etc for breakfast lunch and dinner? I kept telling them I liked savoury meals and don’t have much of a sweet tooth, they changed it once but then the next time the meal plan changed they would just put exactly the kind of horrible sweet stuff I’d explained I don’t like. I didn’t see any improvement, it felt like a weird pyramid scheme that encourages eating disorder behaviour- measuring everything and counting calories and steps. When I told them it wasn’t working for me they wouldn’t let me leave and kept taking my money. Eventually after a lot of back and forth and insisting they ended my membership. Wasted £360 I wish I could get that money back I feel like I spent it on nothing. I would have been so much better off just paying a PT sand would have cost the same if not less, and this is what I will do now I’ve learned my lesson, but I wish I’d never signed up to this scam, a warning to everyone - DONT DO IT
