Currently with them. Whilst not a bad firm, they’ve made several mistakes during our time together, including underhand threat/ultimatums from senior solicitors. Have had to ask for replacements for a couple of people working on the case due to lack of professionalism and empathy towards us. One solicitor has advised us in the past and we’ve followed said advice then they’ve pleaded ignorant when things don’t go to plan. Instead of helping, they’ve said it’s on us and gone on happily to take their payment. They’ve even had to write off charges on the file due to not reading documents properly even after the information being pointed by myself and then the case barrister. Gillian Clark has been the best and most compassionate to get us across the line. They’ve a LOT to learn and get right in understanding that they are accountable to us and the client. Hopefully they do over time.
