Have a customer that purchased a 2010 ford edge transmission that had 60k miles on it. they paid 1400 for the unit. when we received the unit, it looked like it had been sitting for a while.had a ton of rust on the transmission case. we installed the unit correctly and on the first road test the transmission had a shutter. we notified the customer and then called sancho and the warranty department regarding the issue. they started a warranty claim and then never heard from them unit i finally got someone on the line in the warranty department stating that the woman who originally started the claim got fired and lost alot of files. then i received a email 2 weeks or so after saying that all my emails and calls ended up in spam. so they asked me to email invoices over again to another email address. now the warranty company has voided the warranty and stated they did so because a transmission filter was not changed within 1000 miles from puting the transmission in. we have only put 10 miles on the vehicle since the transmission has been put in and also the filter cannot be changed because it is a split unit. if you were to change the filter you might as well have the whole unit be rebuild. this couple are disabled and live off of a disabiliy check and have been saving their money to get their car fixed so they can actually drive it and go to their doctor appointments.
