Second update: guess I got my hopes up too soon and was taken in by more lies from Elijah. The lashes never arrived, though my payment system showed that the shipment was “in preparation”. Despite having been promised, in writing, that they would send me what I had ordered to my correct address, they have now gone back in their word. All they wanted was for me to change my review, which I had. But they really don’t deserve it. Do not trust this company - they just lie. Update: Enjuvie, and specifically Elijah from customer care, came back to me and admitted that they had mishandled their response and communication to me. They recognised that I had amended the shipping address well before it shipped to the wrong one, so they have issued a full refund and are sending me my order to the correct address as a gesture of goodwill, which is very kind of them. I would especially like to commend Elijah who handled an irate customer with tact and kindness and great professionalism. Many companies could learn a thing or two from how Enjuvie handled this. Thursday I bought a pair of lashes. As soon as I hit the pay button i realised that my phone had reverted to an old obsolete address. No way to change the delivery address on the website. So I got in touch with customer care. Within minutes i was contacted by Elijah, who was incredibly helpful and efficient and told me that he had been in touch with their delivery people and everything was in order. Big sigh of relief. Everything was straightened out in less than 30 minutes. I was so impressed. I started drafting a rave review for their excellent customer care, but had to run to an appointment before it was finished. Next day, Friday, I get a shipping confirmation …. To the wrong address. I immediately get back in touch with Elijah, then the company directly as nobody was responding. Eventually Elijah gets back in touch, telling me I am not to worry, just ignore the shipping notification, it is a mistake. Phew. The following Wednesday Elijah gets back in touch, writing “I wanted to let you know that, unfortunately, the order has already been processed and is currently in transit. Since we received your new address after the order was shipped, we are unable to make any changes at this stage.” A blatant lie, as I have several emails from him saying that he is changing/has changed the shipping address well before anything was shipped. I wrote back and told him that I would expect full reimbursement since the goods were being sent to an address I am no longer physically at, in another country. No replyof course. I am hopping mad and so disappointed. We all make mistakes - this started out as my mistake. But to blatantly lie to a customer is inexcusable and cowardly. Shame on you Enjuvie, and especially Elijah.
