After living here 8 years (next month), and just selling this property in Mississippi, the guy who purchased my property informed me they had been charging me "business rates".So when I called today, sure enough....been ripped-off for the past 8 years. The woman from Entergy told me that during construction (I built a 24x32 pole barn and 10x16 shed), a "regular meter won't handle all those tools, so they pus a bigger meter".....honest that's what she told me, and I was laughing at her the entire time......dumbest thing I've ever heard of, and others I've told said the same thing.I told her they owed me a refund on the price difference for the past 8 years. They're sending someone out next week to "investigate".She pretty much called me stupid for paying an incorrect bill for 8 years, and I informed her I never knew it was incorrect. It doesn't say "Business Account" is simply has MS_GS on it.So take it from Entergy, don't trust them. Depending on how they want to go from here, will determine any legal action on my part.
