One star since there is no zero! Some time ago (3 or four years back) I received a penalty notice (months after my trip) for alleged none payment of toll on the Dublin M50. Luckily I was able to retrieve a receipt showing I had paid. I got a reply back stating my campervan was wrongly classified as a much heavier vehicle (no apology) and this was the reason for the error. This year I got another penalty notice (this being the next time a journey took me on the M50 around Dublin) and thinking the same had happened I contacted E Flow then EPC by their circuitous pathways, asking if the same thing had happened, and got a reply saying I had not paid and the penalty started increasing. There was no reference to my query regarding previous errors on their part. Further communication by me (by registered post) included supplying details of my van as per tax book, and details of penalty notices (indicating a much heavier vehicle such as an articulated lorry, with a correspondingly more expensive charge applied) which clearly showed the same mistake had happened again. They reduced the penalty which I have now paid to get these bully-boy parasites off my back. At no time have they attempted to answer my queries. Letters to E Flow have been ignored. It seems they have ignored the facts of this case which I have outlined at length. Is my small camper still wrongly classified? MORAL - KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE SLAVES TO THE COMPUTER WHICH SAYS NO!! Truly awful customer relations.
