An unfortunate approach to business...

An unfortunate approach to business... I truly feel for the individual involved; it must be very frustrating to send invalid notices and pursue individuals for nonexistent "fines". I've taken those trips numerous times without any issues. Each time I receive their letters, I respond with proof, along with additional emails and calls. But why waste people's time like this?

Disappointing lack of response and unfair charges

They will disregard any communication that proves you've settled the charge they are asserting, while trying to pressure you into paying. I received a notice claiming I hadn’t paid for a vignette. The letter was unclear regarding my vehicle registration and lacked a date, prompting me to reach out for clarification on whether it was my vehicle and the payment deadline. I provided the company with proof of payment (credit card statement and a timeline showing my stop at the first petrol station in Hungary where I paid) but received no response, so I followed up. They claimed they hadn’t received anything from me. This occurred three times, which feels very suspicious. Ultimately, I ended up paying the charge to avoid escalation. The time and effort required to contest this in court would exceed the charge, meaning even if I won, I’d still be at a loss. They deliberately let the time lapse to coerce you into paying. This feels like extortion! Additionally, the administrative fees came close to matching the fine. With access to translation tools widely available, it's unreasonable to charge £64.08 for translating a document from Hungarian to English. It’s pure profit.

Positive Experience with Support Team

I can share my positive experience regarding issues I faced with ULEZ and Dart Crossing. After reaching out to the service, I was connected with a representative who was incredibly helpful and resolved my concerns promptly. I appreciated speaking to someone who was understanding and provided constructive advice. While it's common to voice complaints, it's equally important to recognize when things go smoothly and assistance is provided.

The only thing I can say is that they won't get a dime...

The only thing I can say is they won't get a dime from me... :) I advise against dealing with them.

This company is completely unreliable

This company is completely unreliable. I traveled to southern Ireland for a fishing holiday and went through a toll area during my journey. Days later, I received a 'Standard Toll Request' for £7.08 for the first trip and another request for £7.10 for the return. The vehicle class they assigned to me was incorrectly listed as suitable for up to 8 passengers, while my car only accommodates 5. I attempted to call the company twice and spoke to two representatives who seemed clueless. I was then told by a supervisor that it was a system glitch. I was advised to write in my appeal, which I did, but I received no further communication. Instead, I was sent another notice for £52.47, despite being told my case was on hold. Each time I called, I requested to speak to someone in the 'fines' department, but was denied. I emailed them again only to receive a reply reiterating that my case was on hold. Today, I received a 'Toll Violation Notice' for £166.90. It's frustrating to deal with this company, and I plan to reach out to the media and legal counsel regarding this harassment. They are completely unprofessional.

Paid the original fine promptly, but faced issues

I paid the original fine within 7 days via bank transfer, and eFlow acknowledged my payment. However, EPC did not recognize it and issued a late-payment charge, tripling my original fine. I provided all evidence of payment, but EPC refused to accept it. After months, they opened a new case demanding payment for something I already settled. I've repeatedly tried to call, but my calls are often dropped or unanswered. Eflow accepted my payment, but EPC did not. They are unregulated as an international company, which allows them to operate without accountability. This behavior is unacceptable, and I demand an investigation and resolution.

Difficult to contact them. Very Poor Service

I received two threatening letters with different reference numbers for the same toll fee. I cannot reach them via email to clarify, leaving me without an audit trail. Very poor service.

Payment issues led to penalties

While on holiday, I attempted to pay the toll multiple times. My card was rejected three times before finally processing on the fourth attempt for a month’s toll. After returning, I received a penalty for non-payment, despite having paid. My appeal was rejected, as I was late by only 1 hour and 40 minutes. This company is a joke. I've used their roads before and paid, yet now they want me to pay a fine. I'll see them in court!

All their reviews are one star

All their reviews are one star. They seem to operate using scare tactics, hoping that people will pay their fees rather than the issuing authority. The amounts demanded were in sterling, while my fine originated in Hungary.

Sent proof of payment, but issues persisted

I sent proof of payment for a toll journey, but two months later received a letter with a £50 charge. I resent the proof, but customer service claimed it couldn't be used as it was tied to a previous charge number. The journey and proof were the same, yet they issue charges based on different cameras. Once a letter is in their system, contacting them becomes impossible, and the phone lines are unhelpful. I felt forced to pay the fine to avoid further issues.
