I was driving in Portugal as a German who is living in Sweden. Letter arrived in Sweden - so far so good. It seemed I should pay for road tolls in Portugal, but during the extremely mindless conversation through their website, I had to find out that it was not about road tolls, but a violation against the road traffic regulations. What kind of violation, I have no idea and they don't tell. The fine mainly was a late fee while the actual fine was the least part of the sum. When I wanted to pay, I found that EPCPLC has no IBAN number. Nowhere on their website, not in the letter, not in the conversation. I then asked several times for an IBAN bank account number as I am not a Swede and I cannot make a bank transfer to a swedish Bankgirot number. The company should know about this, and when taking a huge contract, they should know that there may be people living in Sweden who are not Swedes. But it was like talking to a stupid chatbot. They repeatedly wrote the same nonsense but still no IBAN number.Welcome to 2024, where international companies take over and act like chatbots with zero intelligence. Now we have October 2024 and I still cannot pay if I wanted to get rid of these nuts. ;)Let's see what the Swedish and the German lawyers and authorities will say.Oooh, and NO, I will not write any more emails to EPC, it's totally useless.Case number: 35105-99575593
