As the letter we received looked legitimate, we attempted to pay the fine via online banking however our bank warned us it looked like a scam account so we didn’t make the transaction. We immediately looked the company up on here which signposted us directly to the vialivre website and watchdog. The vialivre website allowed us to search the dates and registration plate which confirmed that we do not have any unpaid toll fines from our time in Portugal (in 2019). Therefore, we will not be paying this company but will expect more letters and an escalation in the price they are demanding like people have reported below.
