We signed up with Epic Cyprus in November 2024, after being approached at home in Limassol by one of their representatives. He offered a “great deal” for home internet: €10/month for the first year, €30/month for the second, with a 2-year contract. We explained clearly that we would be moving to Larnaca in June 2025, and he guaranteed that the contract could be transferred to our new address with the same discounted terms.That turned out to be a complete lie.We’ve now moved, and the problems began immediately:- Epic refuses to process the transfer, claiming our new building “doesn’t exist” in their system – even though it’s 20 years old, has a clear address, is on Google Maps and 2Gis, and most importantly – our neighbors have active Epic internet connections.- We submitted proof of the building's existence, and were told to go find a fiber optic connection box ourselves – on utility poles or rooftops – and send the serial number. They even suggested we hire an electrician! Is this how a serious company operates?!- Then they informed us the original discount would no longer apply, because the contract cannot be moved "under the same terms." In other words, we were misled from the start.On top of that, we were promised we could cancel the contract after a year if needed, now they say early termination means a fine.Customer service has been rude, unhelpful, and dismissive, showing zero willingness to assist or offer alternative solutions.We have been without internet for over a week, which is unacceptable for anyone, and we work in IT, so this has directly impacted our ability to do our jobs.This is not just incompetence, it feels like deliberate dishonesty and complete disregard for customers. We feel scammed, frustrated, and completely abandoned by Epic Cyprus.Avoid this company. You will regret trusting them.
