Having read these shocking reviews I have decided against using Equinox and will be arranging repairs myself, despite having a 5 year Domestic & General guarantee, which I assumed would use a reputable company for repairs. The reviews on here make it quite clear Equinox struggle with even the most basic repairs, returning TV's with new problems and often with cosmetic damage too, which paints a very poor picture of D&G and a significant fisk for the customer. Absolutely no way am I letting them near my like new £1,000 TV, so I will have the repairs carried out myself and then bill D&G, which they suggested when I raised my concerns. The company you choose needs to be VAT registered, you will need to submit an invoice after the repair in order to claim the cost back and you only need authorisation if the repair is over £200.
