I must say that having always taken out travel insurance for every trip this is the first time I have had to claim for a two day delay. The company handling of this was absolutely appalling .Having sent the requested information four times kept saying it was not sent yet had the company representatives saying they did get it and would pass this to the agent dealing with the claim .After 4 months and constant phone calls get told I am getting £225 for three passengers being delayed two full days in a airport hotel and missing out on the two days of a ten day trip to Hong Kong. According to the uk261 regulation for a long haul flight having being delayed more than 4+hours you are entitled to £520 per person if the airline is at fault which they were .And according to the insurance policy for a delayed flight you should expect £200 per passenger. Yet when you say this to the representatives of the company they say well its up to £200 really and where does its say that in super tiny writing that you need a microscope to find .This company is an absolute joke .But what can you expect from an insurance company they are all the same try any excuses to avoid paying out money. From now on I will be checking exactly who the company is insuring me cause it won't be this company ever again total waste of my money
