Extremely frustrating experience

I had a terrible experience. Four months after falling ill abroad, I faced long wait times—about an hour just to get through. I was looking for a claim reference and confirmation of coverage but received no answers. The provided number was ineffective. It became so stressful that I had to involve family back home, who faced similar frustrations. Thankfully, my travel company managed to rearrange my flights, but I'm still waiting on refunds for extra hotel nights and meals. The service back home is no better. A promised 21-day response time turned out to mean I'd just have to keep calling them. I would not recommend this service.

Frustrating experience with claims

This company, like others, is a complete disappointment. Their insurance may seem affordable, but they will find excuses not to pay. I had to return home due to illness and claimed for additional flight and medical expenses, but they claimed I was seeking reimbursement for unrelated issues and denied the claim. I've referred the matter to the Ombudsman and strongly advise against using this company or any associated with it.

Smooth claim process, but communication issues

I had no issues with my claim submitted at the end of September 2025. The claims team was courteous and helpful, although there was a gap in communication beyond the promised 21-day period. After reaching out for an update, they quickly informed me that my claim had been settled and payment was on the way.

Claim still pending after months

I am still awaiting a claim submitted in October, and now it's early January. We booked through another service, and I regret not checking their underwriter. Very disappointed with the lack of communication.

Still no resolution on claim

Following up on my previous post from December 17th, I am still waiting on my claim. I was initially told it would be resolved in 21 working days after submitting on November 5th. Now, two months later, it's still unresolved. I’ve called multiple times and received no clear answers. I won’t be using this service again. I requested to speak to a manager, but that didn’t happen. I just want my issue resolved, not excuses.

No stars would be more appropriate

If I could give no stars, I would. The experience has been absolutely dreadful. I submitted my claim on September 20th, 2025, and was promised updates that never came. Excuses about high claim volumes are constant. If customers at supermarkets had to wait for hours due to high volume, it would be unacceptable. This claim process is equally incompetent. Claim reference: GLU70014.
