We ordered a fireplace from Esme Furnishings on 28/11/2025. We were told delivery would be mid December when I first chased up (took me 3 emails to get a first response from them), to then be told on 16th December "we have been notified today that there is 4-5 fires which has been sent to the courier but they have damaged them" and that they would deliver week commencing 5th Jan.I emailed again in January to get an update on my order. After being told "the courier will be in touch", I was told on 9th January, my delivery would be "next week". After following up with them for a confirmed delivery date (so that I can plan around my builders), they told me on 14th Jan "We have been advised that this was due to be collected from furdeco last week however the item was damaged whilst going into the trailer when they came". And my delivery is now scheduled for next week or latest week commencing 26th Jan. I have had builders waiting for this to progress on the next stage of my house build (media wall, final finishes etc) and this has held it up massively. They apologise in their emails, but there's nothing to show they mean it (empathising issues and costs for me with the builders as an example). They don't pick up the phone or answer the WhatsApp messages for the number displayed on their website.I would advise anyone ordering from here, to just be wary and reconsider if they want to go through having issues like this.
