The old UK Esso app was not fit for purpose, the new app even less so. I fuelled my car and the Esso app gave me my money back citing "inactivity". I have a screenshot.I've tried to alert Esso but their customer service people won't alert higher management and say I should contact my bank - why ? My credit card records show all transactions faithfully.The cashier at my usual petrol station said it had happened to another customer.The app is giving away money but the people responding to me are not bringing it to the attention of higher management.
